Managing and delivering your own BREEAM projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with the relevant standards and client requirements.Assisting and mentoring other BREEAM Assessors within the team, providing technical guidance and support.Advising design engineers and other stakeholders on BREEAM requirements and best practices, ensuring optimal performance and sustainability outcomes.Securing new projects and opportunities for the company, by developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, professional teams, contractors and staff.Conducting site visits and audits to verify the implementation of BREEAM criteria and collect evidence for the assessment.Preparing and submitting BREEAM reports and certification applications to BRE Global or other scheme operators, following the quality assurance procedures and deadlines.Keeping up to date with the latest developments and changes in BREEAM schemes and standards, as well as other sustainability issues and initiatives.Providing feedback and input to BRE Global or other scheme operators on the BREEAM schemes and standards, as well as participating in training and networking events. What you'll need to succeedEssential:
A valid BREEAM Assessor registration, with proven experience in conducting BREEAM assessments for various building types and schemes.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.A keen interest and confidence in advising and supporting others on BREEAM and sustainability issues.A high level of organisation and flexibility, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.A strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, reliability and hard work.The ability to meet deadlines and deliver high–quality work under pressure.The ability to work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues across different disciplines and locations.The ability to liaise professionally with clients, professional teams, contractors and staff. Desirable:
A positive and highly motivated attitude, with a passion for sustainability and continuous improvement.A BREEAM AP qualification or willingness to obtain one.Experience or knowledge of other sustainability rating systems, such as WELL, LEED or DREAM.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
