This is a 24 hours per week post working as part of the Supported Internship team in Wakefield.
This is an exciting opportunity to be the cutting edge of the growth in Shaw Trust Supported Internships. This job coach opportunity is based in Wakefield and is a 24 hours a week permanent (4 days/week and 6 hours a day) and would suit someone with caring responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with neurodiverse young people or adults, be flexible, committed to making a difference and be able to work under pressure and be an effective communicator. The job coach role will need the successful candidates to be able to work with vulnerable young people and engage employers to offer placements and work opportunities.

You will have:
Expereince working with young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities Agreement to undertake the L3 Supported Employment qualification Strong communicator verbally, in writing and using various IT tools with a diverse group, including Senior Managers, other professionals, young people, and parents. Good administration, IT, and organizational skills with good experience of using MS office software. Flexibility to cope with the varying demands of the role, managing time effectively to achieve the desired results.
