An opportunity to work alongside a bright, funny 12 year old boy who has Autism, ADHD, PDA and anxiety.
No personal care will be required as he is physically able.
Needs reminding to wash hands and will need to be kept safe and supervised at all times.
The role will consist of befriending him, playing his Nintendo switch with him. He likes Minecraft, Zelda, Mario Kart and Lego games.
He also enjoys metal detecting/crystal finding along the beach, so occasionally he may want to do this.
Day to day activities will depend mostly on his interest/mood that day so a flexible approach is a must.
A good understanding of SEN is required for the role, either personally or professionally.
Driving is not essential, as I am happy to provide transport (either in my own car, or fund public transport) however it would be a bonus.
