My name is Simon. I am a young 35 year old with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy looking for someone to join my team who is calm, caring and engaging with me. I like to have daily activities like playing games on PC and PS4 or doing lego and board games i also like listening to music and sometimes watching movies So I would like to have someone with similar interests. I live at home with my family

I am on 24/7 Ventilation (NIV). I spend most of my time in bed. I have a wheelchair, so sometimes will need to be hoisted.

SOME EXPERIENCE WILL BE NEEDED good rates of pay, holiday allowance and sick pay. MUST CURRENTLY LIVE IN THE UK

You will need to be punctual, reliable and be flexible with your working hours. You will also need to be able to cover each others shifts on annual leave and sick leave. THIS IS NOT A LIVE IN POSITION

Shifts are:

07:00 – 14:00

13:00 – 22:00

21:00 -- 07:00 This Is A Waking Night

Duties will include:

-Peg feeding

-Ventilation care

-Suction

-Personal care

-Light cleaning

Day Shifts £15.50 Per Hour - Night Shift £155.00 Per Shift. Pay can change depending on experience. Pay Is every four weeks

You will also need to undertake appropriate training for this role, which can be provided. Also this is an employed position.

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS and proof of entitlement to work in the UK.
