Support Workers

Location: Sheffield, S4

Position: Days - Full time / Part time available

Pay: 10.42- 16.70

We're looking for some fantastic new Support Workers to work in S4 area of Sheffield. You will be supporting a young person age 17 in their own supported living home.

The person you will be supporting has physical disabilities and low mobility as well as reduced communication - of which he uses images and symbols for some words.

We are seeking patient, kind and resilient Support Workers to assist them with their domestic tasks along with enjoying and being involved in the activities he likes, there may also be very occasional personal care.

The Role

Supporting with personal care if needed on occasion / manual handlingSupporting with medicationSupporting with general tasks such as cleaning, cooking & LaundryEncouraging and supporting to get involved in activities Shifts can vary but are usually between 7am-2pm, 2pm -10pm, 5pm-9pm.

We're looking for people who can be as flexible as possible to work a range of these shifts during the week and over weekends, including bank holidays. You will be working alongside an experienced staff member at all times.
