This role is working full–time, 40 hours per week. 3 days a week based at the offices in Romsey and 2 days a week working remotely.
Responsibilities?
Serves as a contact person supporting supplier relationship(s)Support the enablement and onboarding of new suppliersSupports logistics operations by learning and utilizing various systems and processes, and analyzes cost and service capacity of third–party logistics or contracted providers with guidance from others.Participates in cross–functional engagements to integrate and align operations with manufacturing sites, logistics providers, and business functions.Supports development of negotiation strategies and objectives as well as materials for use in negotiation procedures.Assists in monitoring supplier performance and provides feedback as needed.Supports request for proposal (RFP) and contracting activities with cross–functional teams (e.g., Finance, Legal) and ensures contracts meet both price and capacity needs with guidance from othersReviews reports of supplier health, evaluates compliance with business requirements (e.g., security, social responsibility, payment terms), and escalates issues or blockers to initiate corrective actions with guidance from others.Supports in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation. Ensures compliance with internal and external policies and regulatory requirements with guidance from othersAssist with the management of internal purchase requisitions and create purchase orders on the internal system and the acquired company legacy systems, monitor deliveries and follow through regarding invoices and payments? Skills and experience required:
Degree in Supply chain management or equivalentExperience in procurement and supply chain logisticsSupplier chain management system knowledgeExcellent time management, communication skills and a team playerUnderstanding manufacturing/production operationsGood attention to detailsGood IT skills in Microsoft Office
