Description

This is a very hands–on and varied role which will cover off all the duties described below as well as working closely with warehouse, manufacturing and sales teams to collaborate on queries and supplier issues. Must be very pro–active and be prepared liaise with internal and external teams. It is a role where you will not be strictly desk bound (or wish to be), but be working closely with other teams and departments as well as the odd supplier visit.

Main Duties

Maintaining all documents relating to supply chain process in accordance with the company's quality requirementsMaintain accurate order book and support planning teams.Processing order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary and communicating informed risks within the business to key stakeholders.Set–up of new suppliers – supplier questionnaires, certifications, agreementsSetting and approval of new product, co–ordinating samples, product approval letters, artworks etc.Routine monitoring of Suppliers of Finished Goods, Maintaining list of approved suppliers and productsRoutine updating of compliance documents (supplier certificates, product documentation)Create declarations of conformity, test reports for customs clearance, ingredients certificates, declaration of origin, TSS NI EORI declarationsDocument preparation to include, product specifications, product and label images, certificatesLiaise with freight forwarders, obtain quotes and arranging the subsequent import, arranging timely transport to ensure smooth transition of the site waste management.Creation of import documents and international shipment of machine parts.Actively resolve invoice discrepancies. Excellent office admin skillsData literacy – strong numerical reasoningMS Office competency, particularly Excel and OutlookGood interpersonal skills, especially to be able to communicate externally with suppliers and internally with colleagues.Good time management and organisational skills to meet timescales and deadlines.Strong attention to detailProblem–solving abilities, Assertiveness, and confidence to constructively challenge both clients and suppliers.Customer–focusedSelf–motivatedFlexible and adaptableSome previous experience in supply chain or procurementBe pro–active, have get up and go!
