Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Our client has an exciting new vacancy for an experienced Supply Chain Manager. As Supply Chain Manager you will be leading the department working between the Design and Sales departments liaising with their suppliers and factory to ensure they deliver luxury products to discerning customers. This role will report directly to the Managing Director and Commercial Director.

Responsibilities:

Manage supply chain ensuring stock levels are maintainedEnsure suppliers orders are produced to cost, design, and quality controls and delivered on time.Co-ordinate with the factory to ensure orders are assembled efficiently, too schedule and required standardsWork with sales team on scheduling of production of stock and bespoke projects to ensure timely deliveries.Analysis costs to ensure profit margins are maintained.Process all new suppliers, assemblies, purchase orders and deliveries into the business management systemKeep business management system updated with all stock control and process requirementsAnalysis sales to adjust minimum stock holding quarterlyWork with design team on new and existing products to ensure cost, quality and production controls are in placeNational travel will be required minimum 2 days on weekly basis to factory and suppliersInternational travel will be required approx. once per month.Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in supply chain.3-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with a background in luxury manufacturingMust have experience of Unleashed or an equivalent MRP system for SME'sExperience in managing a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.An understanding of materials, production and assembly processes.Excellent time management and communication skillsGreat attention to detail and a passion for creative industriesWill have experience working in the fieldMust be approachable and not afraid to meet new peopleAdvanced experience in Sage 50 or an equivalent business management and stock control systemExperience with a task management systemExcellent Microsoft office skillsClean driving licenseACS are recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager.
