Supply Chain Finance Manager / Merseyside (hybrid) / Salary GBP70,000 - GBP75,000

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Finance Manager to join our client who are a leading manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimising financial operations within the supply chain, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. The Supply Chain Finance Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that enhance the overall supply chain performance and contribute to the organisation's financial goals.

Key responsibilities:

Through effective control and analysis, you will provide timely supply chain finance information and recommendations to the site leadership teams.Continually monitor the site's financial performance - specifically conversion costs, material price, waste, obsoletes, Capex. Flagging key issues and performance drivers.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain finance and regularly report on performance against these metrics.You will analyse and control the site's cost elements by understanding drivers and making recommendations to improve costs & performance KPIs.Ensure the site's standard product costs and transfer prices are controlled and frequently updated according to latest procurement forecasts and production parameters.Cross-Functional Collaboration - you will work closely with the wider site functional teams to continuously improve reporting and data accuracy. You will be the 'expert' on supply chain finance processes, controls, reporting and data.Driving continual process improvement and financial performance Key skills:

Fully Qualified (CIMA / ACA or ACCA) with proven experience working within Supply Chain, Manufacturing or FMCGStrong analytical and financial modelling skillsExcellent understanding of supply chain processes and cost structuresStrong communication skills, able to collaborate across diverse teams. This role offers hybrid working, with flexible start and finish times.
