Supply Chain Administrator

My client is a packaging supplier who operates on a global scale. Sourcing raw materials from multiple countries on the other side of the world and then creating bespoke packaging solutions for their clients here in the UK.
They run an impressive operation from the historic town of Leamington and are passionate about providing their customers a top quality and reliable service all round.
The Role
This is a critical role within their purchasing and supply chain operation.
If you are an experienced administrator who has worked in a very face paced environment, is used to spinning lots of plates constantly throughout the day, you are extremely organised and are meticulous by nature, this role may just be for you!
The supply chain administrator will report to the purchasing administrator and take ownership of and manage the one hundred and one things that could happen from the moment an order is placed to the order actually getting to the customer.
You will support other areas of the business, including supply chain, sales and operations.
SAP experience previously is highly beneficial, please include this in you CV if you have used before.
The role:
Raising purchase orders and sending them across Answering supplier queries and progressing work along Setting up new records in SAP and ensuring it remains up to date Be the first point of contact for customers Build good relationships with suppliers, customers and stakeholders within the business Knowing the status of all orders and being able to foresee and plan what needs to happen next If orders are delayed, making contact with appropriate parties to manage their expectations. Reviewing of orders and ensuring timescales and deadlines are met for dispatch Keeping on top of stationary and general office administration Managing diaries on outlook Managing meeting bookings and travel when necessary
