Since 1993, Buckingham Palace has opened its doors every summer to welcome thousands of visitors from around the World. Joining our welcoming and highly professional Visitor Services team, you will play a pivotal role in creating an extraordinary experience.
As a Visitor Services Team Leader, you'll support the wider Visitor Services management team to ensure our Wardens have the guidance and support they need to excel. Every day, you'll engage the team in briefings, lead the daily operation of part of the visitor route, and inspire everyone to deliver an exceptional visitor experience.
Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of a team of Wardens and a specific part of the visitor route.Conduct daily briefings, training, and performance reviews for your team.Ensure the smooth running of your specific zone, monitoring staffing, security, and customer satisfaction.Act as a point of escalation for issues that arise in the day-to-day operation.Provide excellent customer service, always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.Lead by example to ensure the safety and security of the visitors and the site. Supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.Excellent communication and customer service skills.A naturally friendly, welcoming and professional attitude.Proven team player, able to work flexibly and adapt to daily demands and changes.Comfortable working on your feet, both indoors and outdoors.Ability to thrive in a busy environment.
