Absolutely stunning 1920's Elkhart Indiana (Martin) 'Artiso' alto saxophone, this should really be a 'museum piece' it's in that fantastic condition and blows great, having had the benefit of a recent professional overhaul / service. It has a very distinctive octave key mechanism, that the semi-retired sax technician has never seen before in his 37 years or so, of repairing saxophones. He was amazed at the condition of the saxophone too. Please see a video here: https://youtu.be/Oy3kL2BiP1I?si=9UMiFgOL9p4u0t6s.
Comes in a Buescher case which I believe is the original, a leather strap, and a 'Dearman Super 4' mouthpiece, again, vintage, but wouldn't have originally have come with the sax.
I may consider a swap for a really good tenor saxophone, preferably with a top F#, what have you got to swap? Collection from Bangor, Gwynedd preferred, but would consider postage at buyer's risk and expense.
