STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Owing to continued sustainable growth, their in-house Design team is looking for Structural Engineer to join the established team in Liverpool. You will take on a fully supported leading role in all aspects of projects, from scoping and detailed design through to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus on low-carbon solutions.
Our Client is in an incredibly strong position in the marketplace, and you'll be given the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects.
Some of The Structural Engineer Key Duties Include:
Liaise with Client and stakeholders across the business.Produce preliminary and detailed designs.Compile design specifications.Compile reports and communicate design data to the client and others.Comply with company quality assurance procedures.Complete required deliverables within allocated project time scales. What Do You Need?
Degree in Structural Engineering.Experience of structural steelwork, connection design and detailing.Working knowledge of design codes and standards relating to structural engineering such as British Standards and Eurocodes.Analyses of structures for stress and deflection using both hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis.Detailed working knowledge of software packages such as Revit, Advanced Steel, Inventor and RFM.Good knowledge of IT packages and systems.The ability to work under pressure quickly and accurately with attention to detail.Good written and verbal communications skills.
