Strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef
This members-only golf club is looking for a strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to strengthen the team. The kitchen serves a busy breakfast menu, spikes bar snacks, paninis and light lunches throughout the week but also caters for functions, canapés, private parties, fork buffets and banquets. This is a home cooking operation not fast food or gastro pub with as much as possible made in house. Duties will include working alone at quiet times.
Main duties:
Support the Head Chef to ensure that every aspect of the service runs smoothly.
Work on all sections of the kitchen as needed.
Run the kitchen when left in charge.
Supervise junior staff.
Some kitchen management duties
Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Professional Cookery level 2 or 3
Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality,
Relevant experience in a similar fresh food outlet
Excellent attention to detail
