This Strat was made using an original Fender Stratocaster 60th Anniversary USA maple neck. This particular neck is from a limited run, as has that 60th Anniversary metal button to mark the occasion.
The neck is paired with a super lightweight nitrocellulose-finished swamp ash Strat body that was made by a luthier and has been specified to be really lightweight. Has a sculpted heel joint and scooped back for better upper fret access and a deep belly cut for comfort.
Has some extra weight relief holes under the pickguard which was specified to make it even lighter. A professional job, and not just anybody with a drill, so all done neatly and with purpose.
It has an original USA non-fine tuner locking Floyd Rose bridge, paired with the upgraded Floyd Rose push-in arm. Plus a set of staggered Fender locking tuners and a well-cut bone nut.
Seymour Duncan 59 bridge humbucker and two SSL-1 single-coil pickups, plus a kill switch.
Guitar has the usual playing wear, dinks and marks, but nothing that detracts from the playability.
The thin nitro finish was designed to age nicely and accrue natural wear, so it will only get better with age. Already has some checking in the finish on the rear of the body.
It weighs in at 3.5kg / 7lbs 12oz on my kitchen scales
