I’ve owned the Stagg cymbal for a long time, it cracked and continually got worse. One day I was at the drum shop and saw this Sabian AAX cymbal, paid £35 for it, it’s a 13” cymbal but it’s been cut down from an old cracked 19” china. I stacked that cymbal on top of the broken Stagg cymbal and I was pleasantly surprised at how crisp and articulate it sounded. For me it beat spending 300-600£ on a branded “stack” all day long! That being said I’m not using it anymore I’ve switched to an x-hat made up of splash cymbals, so I’d like to pass these cymbals onto someone else to enjoy. £10 for the pair.
