Overview:
As a Sports & Learning Mentor, you will be responsible for inspiring, motivating, and guiding young people in our community. Your role will focus on utilizing sports and educational activities to foster personal development, instil discipline, and drive positive change in the lives of pupils.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and deliver sports and learning programs that promote teamwork, leadership, and personal growthMentoring and coaching young participants in both sports and academic pursuitsCreate a safe and inclusive environment that encourages active participationMonitor and track the progress of participants, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedbackServe as a positive role model, inspiring young individuals to reach their full potential Qualifications:
Has previous experience of supporting pupilsHas at least one years' school-based experienceHolds TA qualification or a relevant degreeCan build a good relationship with children who struggle to engage in classHas good communication skills to liaise with staff and pupilsValid child and adult enhanced DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one What we offer:
