KIXX Norwich Ltd is part of the national KIXX franchise providing activities for over 10,000 children each week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, active person to work as Sports Coach at our venues in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft . You will be providing fun football sessions for children aged 2 to 8 years.

To start, you will be working 2.5 hours on Saturday morning in Great Yarmouth and 2.5 hours on Sunday morning in Lowestoft, 8 weeks out of 9 throughout the year. You can be self employed, or on PAYE casual contract. As a member of the Living Wage Foundation our starting pay is currently £12.00 per hour, rising as you develop with us.

Ideally we are looking for somebody to cover both days, but we may consider suitable applicants who can cover just one. Although we recognise there will be times when you need time off, you'll generally be working 8 weekends out of 9 right through the year, so bear in mind that it's quite a big commitment.

Self employed coaches will be responsible for their own tax and national insurance. Coaches employed by us on PAYE will receive (in addition to the hourly rate) pay in lieu of leave, a small profit share payment, and a discretionary Christmas bonus. Kixx branded clothing will be provided.

You will need some previous sports coaching experience, but what is even more important is that you have a sense of fun and enjoyment which you can pass on to the children to help them develop a love of being active. We focus on fun and activity more than technical football skills, especially with the younger children, so we need bubbly individuals who can keep them engaged. We will give you a full induction into how we run our sessions.

You will need to have an Enhanced DBS check and qualifications in Paediatric First Aid and Child Safeguarding. If you don't have these we can arrange them for you.
