OH Medical is currently seeking a SpLD Assessor to undertake a Full-Time Permanent role for a leading Occupational Health Provider. This exciting opportunity will see you working as part of a multidisciplinary team, in a home-based role with occasional national travel.
The Role:
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced SpLD Assessor to join the established team of a leading Occupational Health provider in the delivery of a first class Neurodiversity Service. As the successful SpLD Assessor candidate your duties will consist of:
Delivery of both face to face and virtual assessments In-depth, one-to-one diagnostic assessments with Client Employees, determining if employees have a specific learning difficulty and the impact this will have on their working experience. Provide psychological assessments based upon the appropriate use, interpretation, and integration of data from a variety of sources including clinical and semi-structured interviews, self-report measures, rating scales, both direct and indirect observations with employees, and where appropriate with employees family members or others involved in their care. Interpret test results providing feedback to clients and employees ensuring a full understanding of the entire assessment process and any test results Provide a full explanation of any conclusions and recommendations, that are appropriate to the workplace Deliver high quality diagnostic assessment reports, within agreed timeframes Work alongside the wider team to improve service provisions for those with neurodivergence within the workplace. Including workshops regarding reasonable adjustments and best practice Communicate at all times with people at all levels in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning assessments and where necessary treatment plans of employees. Conduct workplace needs assessment. Understanding client concerns and identified barriers; making suitable recommendations for reasonable adjustments that will make a lasting impact to the employee. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of assistive technologies, specialist equipment and products that may be useful for the clients Deliver training to Clients supporting neuroinclusion within the workplace
Required Skills:
Educated to Degree Level Eligible to diagnose SpLDs using the appropriate guidelines and hold a current Assessment Practising Certificate which must include at least one of the following; Current level 7 SpLD Assessment Practising Certificates AMBDA level accredited courses, such as the OCR Level 7 SpLD Diploma SASC post-graduate courses accredited as leading to an APC CPT3A qualification PAPAA qualification
