Job Ref: PK–1244Specialist Learning Assessor (SpLD)Location: Homebased + TravelJob Type: Permanent – Full TimeOccupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit a Specialist Learning Assessor (SpLD) to work homebased, however some travel may be required nationwide on a permanent basis 3–5 days/week. The role will involve:– Working with the neurodiversity team– You will conduct in–depth, one–to–one diagnostic assessments with client, to determine whether they have a specific learning difficulty and the impact this will have on their working experience– Provide psychological assessments of clients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation, and integration of data from a variety of sources including clinical interview, self–report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect observations and semi–structured interviews with patients, and on occasion if appropriate family members and others involved in the clients' care.– Interpret test results and provide constructive and appropriate feedback to the client ensuring they fully understand the d and sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of patients where necessary.– To meet with clients and employers to conduct workplace needs assessment. Understanding client concerns and identified barriers; Identify and make suitable recommendations for appropriate reasonable adjustments that will make a lasting impact to the employee.– Demonstrate extensive knowledge of assistive technologies, specialist equipment and products that may be useful for the client that links closely to their specific job requirements– Deliver training to our Clients supporting neuroinclusion within the workplace– Collating and compiling competent reports that are fit for purposeTo apply you will need to be an experienced and qualified SPLD Specialist Assessor with strong previous experience of report writing and working in this sector. You will need to be eligible to diagnose SpLDs using the appropriate guidelines and hold a current Assessment Practising Certificate which must include at least one of the following; Current level 7 SpLD Assessment Practising Certificates, AMBDA level accredited courses, such as the OCR Level 7 SpLD Diploma, SASC post–graduate courses accredited as leading to an APC, CPT3A qualificationor PAPAA qualification.Salary: up to GBP50,000 dependent upon experience + benefits
