This Secondary School based in Birmingham are looking for a Spanish Teacher to join the Department. This school has high expectations for its students' behaviour, attendance, punctuality and outcomes. The school has a brilliant team of teachers and support staff who develop excellent relationships with the students and provide high quality learning experiences both inside and outside of the classroom.

Your new job

These roles are starting from January 2024. You will be required to:

Teach Spanish for KS3 and KS4 (potentially KS5 dependent on experience).Plan and prepare lessons for pupils in KS3 and KS4 (potentially KS5 dependent on experience)Complete the marking and assessment of pupils’ work, along with being involved with facility and department meetingsYou will deliver these lessons in a positive learning environment, ensuring all pupils are progressing consistently and achieving target grades. Have a focus on keeping high expectations of students’ attainment and behaviour.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have experience as a Secondary Teacher.Be able to teach one or more of the following Modern Foreign Languages - Spanish.Recent experience of delivering the current secondary curriculum is essential.You need to be flexible and willing to travel around the West Midlands area.At Hays, we also offer a guarantee payment scheme which guarantees you payment even if you don't work*!
