Sony DCR-HC19E Digital MiniDV Handycam camcorder, with accessories
The Sony DCR-HC19E camcorder features a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, with a 20X optical zoom capability and a filter diameter of 25mm. This ensures that your footage will be of pin-sharp quality, even when you are zooming in from a significant distance, while the sizable lens guarantees a bright picture. The quality of your image will remain high as you zoom into your subject from a distance.

Whilst testing the camcorder today, I found the following faults:
1) Neither the Sony NP-FP30 or Sony NP-FP50 seem to be taking or holding a full charge, so they may need to be replaced. I will continue trying to charge them up and test further.
2) The LCD touchscreen doesn’t remain folded against the body, it always pops open a little (see photos). This doesn’t affect the operation of the camcorder or quality of the images in any way, and it does push all the way in to put the camcorder away in the supplied carrying case.
