A rapidly growing supplier of special purpose machinery to the nuclear sector is looking for a Draughtsperson to join their team - this role is avaialble on a hybrid working basis. The business has experience on every licenced nuclear site in the UK and is involved in projects from design concept right through to manufacturing and subsequent commissioning. If you're reading this but would prefer a Design Engineer role the employer also has this type of role open too.
The Role
As one of their Draughters you'll be responsible for the production of mechanical engineering drawings compliant with BS888 and other standards. You'll also undertake detail design of engineering designs to ensure design for manufacture and design for assembly is captured whilst providing checking, feedback and training to other engineer.
You
To succeed in the role of Draughtsperson you'll need to have a proven track record in the production of engineering drawings using SolidWorks. Any experience of GD&T / BS8888 would certainly hold you in good stead.
