My client is a multi-national manufacturing company in need of a Software Engineer with experience of microcontrollers and real-time operating systems. The ideal candidate will have experience within the automotive or similar industry. This is an on-site Monday-Friday role based in Ipswich and offers fantastic benefits including enhanced pension.

The role will include:

Installation of software products for end usersWriting, coding, and translating software including user databases, back-end services, and interfacesPerformance testing and diagnostic analysisGeneral debugging

Qualifications and experience required:

Embedded knowledge (C/C++, embedded OS)Knowledge of microcontrollers and real-time operating systemIdeally Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Information Technology or Computer ScienceSoftware knowledge: SAP, C, C++, Cmake, .Net/C#, Java, PHPTroubleshooting experienceMust be well versed in web services, JavaScript, DevOps, SQL programming, and Ecommerce platform development
