Job Title: Social Support Assistant

Location: Shoreham by Sea

Hourly rate: £14.00 plus expenses

Hours/shifts: Every other weekend 10am-3pm but can be flexible.

I am an autistic 29 year old lady with learning difficulties living in Shoreham by Sea. I would like to meet a kind & caring companion to take me on outings such as zoos, walking, countryside days out and experiencing life in general. I have a fear of barking dogs, I have many hobbies including art & crafts. I don’t have any personal care needs or challenging behaviour. Free autism training can be arranged if required. Hours are every other weekend 10-3 but can be flexible.

Typical duties

Social:

Accompany employer when accessing social and leisure activities e.g. Country walks, playing tennis, badminton, cinema and swimming.

Finding fun arts and crafts activities we can do

Helping me access activities at the weekends.

The above will involve driving me in your car

The successful applicant will be:

Experience and knowledge of autism is beneficial, but training can be offered if needed
