This is an exciting opportunity to join a small charity team and make an important contribution to the support of those who have been bereaved by suicide.
Position: Social Media Officer
Location: Ilkeston, Hybrid
Salary: GBP26,000, potential salary increases in first year to reflect work performance to GBP29,000
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
The Social Media Officer will lead on and develop social media and digital content promoting the charity, services, events and activities. Working closely with the charity fundraiser to take a proactive approach sharing volunteer and survivor stories. You will monitor and update the charity s website and social media channels and be proactive in all aspects of public relations on behalf of the charity.
Key responsibilities include:
• Oversee the development of creative content, press releases and digital marketing platforms
• Managing social media properties (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.), including daily monitoring, posting and content development
• Co-ordinate and implement social media marketing schedules
• Developing and execute a digital marketing strategy
• Lead on on-line shop and merchandising
• Creating brand awareness via advertising for print and social media
• Managing and promoting the charity s exposure
• Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics
