We have a great story, we have a listening audience, now we need someone to help bring that all together.
As you'll see from the below responsibilities, we're looking for someone with a wide range of skills:
– Work closely with the team to identify hot topics / industry insights that will engage our audience
– Develop a monthly content plan
– Write content (opinion pieces, industry updates, monthly newsletters) for LinkedIn plus other channels
– Work with external designers to create engaging visual content
– Curate and manage our presence across social media (including strategy)
– Identify and contact PR opportunities
– Monitor and analyse social media performance and provide insights / reports
– Manage the posting of content using automated tools
– Respond to any social questions / feedback
What do we look for?First it's about chemistry, we have a tight team so you'll need to be a people person who can enjoy (and add to) our friendly and supportive culture.Second is experience. For this role candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience creating engaging (and creative) content, predominantly for LinkedIn. A deep understanding of the LinkedIn ecosystem /algorithms is paramount.This role would suit candidates who are looking for three / four days per week with reduced / flexible hours. We do want this person to be an active and integrated member of the team, so they will need to spend time in our central Birmingham office 2 days (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) each week.
