I am pleased to be partnering with Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation based in SE1 to build their newly created digital team. The Digital Project Manager will specifically be focusing on three NHS charities which are: Guy's & St Thomas' Charity, Guy's Cancer Charity and Evelina London Children's Charity, which are all part of the Foundation supporting Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

The Organic Social Media Manager will be a key part of this team, and the overall development of the digital ecosystem. You'll take ownership of all social channels across the three brands. You'll be the go–to organic social media expert, managing a programme of social media content to engage supporters. This role will be essential in making sure the digital team deliver consistent excellence across the board.

The Organic Social Media Manager will be a key part of this team, and the overall development of the digital ecosystem. You'll take ownership of all social channels across the three brands. You'll be the go–to organic social media expert, managing a programme of social media content to engage supporters. This role will be essential in making sure the digital team deliver consistent excellence across the board. This will mean traditional project management but also a willingness to take on and resolve a variety of challenges the team faces. You will be an un–blocker, an innovator, a do–er and ultimately responsible for the strategic direction of the social content.

Main Duties Include:

Work closely with the Digital Director and Head of Digital to develop social media channel performance and channels.Develop, populate and deliver a new social media strategy for each of the charity brands to meet ambitious brand and fundraising goals.Bringing organisation and focus to a social media team using management platforms such as Sprout, Hootsuite etc.Define and document processes so that they are accessible and easy to understand.Plan strategically, prioritising and aligning projects and day–to–day activity with wider business planning processes and priorities.Build genuine and meaningful connections with social media audiences through understanding and meeting their needs.Support and train colleagues as part of overall digital maturity process. Ability to balance strategic thinking and planning with operational doing.A deep understanding of the way in which social media channels connect to organisational mission and purpose.High level of comfort working in a busy and varied role, focusing effort on impact and value creation, and an ability to prioritise work accordingly.Knowledge and experience of empowering and developing team collaboration and ways of working through a disciplined and structured approach.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience and comfort with running workshops and planning sessions.Experience of managing social media platforms like Sprout and Hootsuite.Passion about the opportunity social media gives charities and able to bring an enthusiastic and pragmatic approach. Guys & St Thomas' Foundation are based in SE1 and offer excellent hybrid and flexible working options.

Salary banding GBP45,000–GBP50,000

Benefits include:

27 days of annual leave + bank holidays (increases with length in service)GBP1,000 annual personal development budget, including access to coachingEnhanced maternity, paternity, and parental leave pay which is accessible without length of service requirements.
