POSITION OVERVIEWThe EMEA Social Media Manager is responsible for driving the overall strategy and content plan of McCormick social media channels in the UK, France, Poland and Switzerland (9 brands), to increase engagement and drive 1:1 relationships with consumers. In addition to driving the content plan for each brand they oversee, they will also support creative campaigns coincide internal and agency partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES– STRATEGY: Leads and executes Social media strategy liaising with Global brands teams, local business teams and the EMEA Social media agency.– SOCIAL EDITORIAL PROCESS: Leads monthly social media content planning to support business objectives for assigned brands. Ensures all social posts (both assets and copy) meet social best practices, aligns with established Brand Tone of Voice, and is consistent with business priorities. Manages copywriting and transcreation / translation with EMEA Social media agency.– SOCIAL CONTENT DEVELOPMENT: Works in partnership with our Global Brands teams, our EMEA Studio and the agency to develop best–in–class organic social content. Attend pre–production meetings and photoshoots to ensure all content is aligning to social best practices and brand tone of voice. Also leads content brainstorms with internal teams and the agency to drive new creative ideas on a regular basis.– MEDIA: Collaborates with EMEA Campaign managers to review and recommend content (both top–performing and new ideas).– COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT: Supports all monitoring and response efforts for assigned brands with the support of the EMEA Social Media agency– ANALYTICS AND REPORTING: Manages reporting on a monthly basis, pulling insights such as average engagement rate, total impressions and total follower growth across all brands and platforms. Develop ongoing project–specific recaps for Senior leadership.– TRENDS: Stay up–to–day on current industry trends and social media platform capabilities, recommending new, innovative ways to connect with our consumers through social media. – SURPRISE & DELIGHT : Identify influencers to contact and send products to, as Surprise & Delight action, with support of the agency.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS– Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media, Marketing, or Communications field.– Relevant work experience or related internships.– Detail–oriented, deadline driven, and able to handle a different project at the same time.– Creative– ability to bring new ideas to the table.– Experience working with many cross–functional team members across the organization and with different markets.– Strong knowledge of native social insights tools (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) and is able to adapt easily with platform changes. –Willingness to react and respond in a timely manner.– Keeps up–to–date with industry trends and new platform innovations.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience working with brands across multiple regions.– Experience working with multiple brands with unique styles and tones of voice.– Experience in CPG food industry.– Experience in Paid Social Media.
