Position: Veterinary Nurse

Location: Belfast

Salary: Up to GBP30,000 (Negotiable) + Benefits

Working Hours: Up to 40 hours per week (across an 8-week rolling rota)

Weekends: 1:4 weekends

Out of Hours (OOH) Rota: Shared, with generous time back after/before weekend and out of hours work

Responsibilities:

Conduct nurse consultations including weight clinics, 6-month checks, nail trimming, nutrition chats, and more.

Patient nursing, critical care, scrub nurse duties, patient triage, blood sampling, catheter placement, and anaesthetics.

Radiography, lab and microscope work, reception duties, puppy socialisation classes.

Maintain health and safety standards and hygiene protocols.

Requirements:

Qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant certifications.

Proven experience in a veterinary setting.

Ability to handle a diverse range of responsibilities.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
