We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Pride Operative to join our busy team in at our depot in Burradon. Within this role you will carry out manual activities for the area such as, that include joinery and basic civil activities minor repairs. You will also liaise with our customers and be part of the North Team
Please note this role is in-line with Northern Gas Networks clean shave policy.
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to
• Joinery, tiling, painting, fitting, or replacing fencing as appropriate, Support with the installation of wooden trench support and be part of standby support Driver Rota
• All work is reported on site completion reports via an app on a smart device (phone or tablet), so your use of technology needs to be good, although we will offer training on the application
• Responding to customer queries and complaints in accordance with agreed service levels providing the highest levels of customer service
• Complying with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 by taking reasonable care to ensure the health and safety of themselves and others (team colleague, members of the public and customers) at all times
• In this role you must be able to communicate well at all levels and work on your own initiative to plan and complete a programme of works, some are planned others may be reactive to our customer's needs
What skills and experience are we looking for
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Possession of a current full driving license as a company van will be provided
• Good communication as a remote worker
• Previous joinery experience
• Previous experience using tooling and equipment
• Ability to use a smart device/apps to complete site reports
• Able to work on your own initiative and work as part of a team safely on site
• Proven track record of putting safety first
