Hexagon Group are delighted to be working with a prominent managing agent that have a well-respected name within shopping centre management. Our client is recruiting for a Shopping Centre Manager to manage a modern shopping centre that attracts a high number of footfall each year and is home to numerous high street retailers.

As the Shopping Centre Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping the success for the centre. You will be responsible for the day to day operations, whilst being support by 2 members of staff, and numerous on-site contractors. A pivotal part of your role will be enhancing relationships with your occupiers and implementing strategies to drive footfall and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop strong relationships with the centre's occupiers, ensuring their needs are being met.Direct line management of 2 members of staff, providing training and support when needed.Overseeing the M&E, security, cleaning, and guest service in order to create a welcoming atmosphere.Implement marketing strategies to enhance the shopping centres visibility, attracting a diverse customer base, and promoting any events that may be taking place.Analysing market trends, competitor activities and consumer behaviour to identify growth opportunities.Management of the centre health & safety protocols, and ensuring any issues are dealt with promptly.Ideally, you will hold previous experience in shopping centre management; this could be either managing a retail park, or a centre of this ilk. However, our client has stated that they are open on candidate's experience, although you must come from a background within facilities management. In addition, you will have strong people management skills, have a positive personality, and be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of health & safety, which will all be backed up with an industry recognised qualification such as an IOSH / NEBOSH / IWFM certificates.
