Responsibilities include managing a team to : -

Ensure shift start, finish and break times are adhered to by all team membersEnsure team members are working in line with production expectationsEnsure shift schedule is followed in an optimal order which meets both customer collection requirements and plant through putEnsure all work carriers are fully loadedEnsure part identification and counts are accurateEnsure any rejects are re-processed by the end of each shiftEnsure all loads that are questionable are passed or rejected within the shiftEnsure all working areas are tidy, safe and all rubbish is allocated correctlyNotify maintenance of any occurring problemsEnsure quality control stamps are being used where neededLiaise with packing supervisor to ensure loads are processed at the right timeOrganise suitable cover / overtime to maintain production through putIssue disciplinary procedures with the help of production manager as requiredPresent daily shift performance to the production manager at the scheduled daily hand over meetingCarry out a detailed handover with the incoming shift supervisorExcellent salary and benefiuts package
