GBP27,565 plus standby payments + business use of company van

Your responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing sewage-related challenges within our network, addressing issues such as blockages, odours, flooding, and incidents. We understand the importance of work-life balance, and while you will be part of standby duties and weekend shifts on a rotating basis, your contributions will make a meaningful impact.

Operating Specialised Equipment: You'll operate a single-person, high-pressure water jetting unit and receive comprehensive training in handling specific CCTV equipment. This expertise is instrumental in identifying and advocating for repair work on our sewerage network.

Customer-Focused Solutions: Taking ownership of customer concerns, you'll investigate and provide first-time resolutions for sewerage issues, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Incident Response and Maintenance: You'll be at the forefront, responding to incidents promptly and completing planned maintenance work, contributing to the smooth operation of our sewerage network.

Efficient Documentation: Your role involves accurately collating and recording feedback from site activities through our user-friendly IT systems.

Empowered Lone Working: Predominantly working independently, you'll engage with both internal and external customers daily, showcasing your skills in effective communication and problem-solving.

Tech Savviness: Basic IT skills are essential for efficient documentation and communication, contributing to the seamless operation of our services.

Customer-Centric Approach: Excellent customer service skills are vital, as is the ability to communicate effectively. Your interactions with customers play a pivotal role in their overall experience.

Driving Capability: A full driving license is necessary and possessing a 4.5-tonne license is advantageous (training provided if needed). Your mobility is crucial to fulfilling the role requirements.

Safety Commitment: The role involves working in confined spaces and at heights, with a maximum harness weight of 113 kilograms. We value individuals who prioritise safety protocols and adhere to occupational health checks, including Hand-arm Vibration (HAV).
