Service Engineer, Witney, GBP38,000pa - GBP42,000pa plus bonus & benefits: A leading specialist manufacturer of highly complex instrumentation and associated equipment is looking to recruit a Service Engineer to join their growing business. Based predominately from their production facility near Witney, the Service Engineer will also visit customer sites throughout the UK and Europe with a small number of global visits, your time will be spent 70% in Witney and 30% travel. This Service Engineer role would perfectly suit a Service Engineer who is looking for a role which has less travelling and more workshop-based work. This business is a great employer to work for, they have a relaxed, casual and flexible approach to working, plus the work is incredibly interesting if you're keen on electro-mechanical products.The Service Engineer's main responsibilities: Helping to support the worldwide customer base Carry out service and repair work at the production site in the UK in conjunction with our production team Installation, service and maintenance of scientific equipment used in customer laboratories around the world Working on and maintaining technical service documentation suitable for use by both end users and partner service engineers Provide training for partner service engineers Required experience & skills: A degree or qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering, or equivalent experience Experience in servicing scientific equipment in-house or in a laboratory environment You should have good "hands-on" technical skills.
