Technique Recruitment Solutions are working with our established agriculture industrial client, who are a family run business of more than 30 years.

They are seeking a full time Service Engineer within the Dairy/Agricultural sector, responsible for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing all aspects of dairy equipment throughout East Anglia on clients sites.

The ideal candidate will need to be able to work on their own initiative & as part of a team.

The candidate must be available to take a turn in the on-call rota operated by the company after hours during the week, some weekends and holidays, company vehicle provided.

You must be capable of working to a high standard and taking responsibility for your own work.

Job role: Service Engineer

Based out of Horsford, Norfolk

Salary up to GBP34,000 per annum + Overtime

Duties to include:

Install, Service, Diagnose and/or repair all aspects of dairy equipment effectively and efficiently maintain high level of customer satisfaction

Complete preventative maintenance and provide servicing support

Advise customers on the proper use, operation and maintenance of dairy equipment

Required product knowledge and training to ensure customer satisfaction and ability to promote the sales of products and services

Assist with timely deliveries of products available from the company

You will be asked to participate in the daily activities of the business so your role may not be limited to within the above

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous service experience in farm/dairy-related or agriculture industry is preferred but not essential as training will be given

Good knowledge of electrics and basic plumbing is ideal within an industrial/agricultural environment preferably

Good communication and organisational skill is essential

Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks within a short deadline

Must possess a valid UK driving license, be over the age of 25 years old ideally due to business insurance clause.

Motivated, self-starter who can work independently yet function and participate as part of a team

Salary will be based on experience, plus overtime
