These services are delivered across our Assessment, Employability, Wellbeing, Citizen Services and Environment divisions.Our Reed Assessment division, a national provider of trusted and secure testing and assessments, is planning for the significant expansion of its testing operations during 2024. We are currently bidding for the delivery, on behalf of the Standards and Testing Agency (STA), of Key Stage 1 & 2 testing to all Primary School students in England. Securing this multi-million pound contract would see Reed Assessment responsible, directly and through its supply chain partners, for the production, distribution, marking and moderating of all key stage tests across Primary Schools.We are now looking to build an experienced implementation and delivery team ready to successfully mobilise this contract from April 2024. Please note this is a Fixed term contract for 18.5 months starting in April 2024.Please note, expensed travel including potential overnight stays will be expected at key points of the implementation cycle, the frequency of which will vary. What is the role about?The role of Service Design Executive is to support the Service Design Lead to ensure a successful implementation of a large-scale project. Reporting to the Service Design Lead, you will assist with varied service design activities throughout the implementation, from contract award up to contract commencement. These are varied roles which will encompass service design & delivery, staff and partner training, research & analysis, preparing delivery materials, preparing reports, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we have met our commitments from the commissioner.Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include; Working with the Service Design Lead in delivering the timely and effective implementation of a programme, from bid submission through to contract commencement and optimisationAssisting the Service Design Lead with the creation and maintenance of Implementation Plans amongst other project documentationSupport the Service Design Lead with the construction of delivery models and process maps and developing these in conjunction with internal stakeholders in Service Design workshops and weekly catch-up callsContribute with creative thinking and support in activities relating to Service DesignDesigning and test new delivery methodology to improve performance and productivity.Identification of improvements and best practice throughout the contract implementation processSupporting the Service Design Lead with regular liaison to both internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates to all parties to achieve and progress project objectivesIdentifying potential areas of contract risk and relaying this to the appropriate internal departmentSupporting in identifying training requirements of the contract, creating, and assisting with the delivery of training to internal and external operational stakeholdersDesigning operational guidance and process materials, and developing additional operational assets and tools where required This is not an exhaustive list and as such you will be expected to carry out any other duties as may be specified by the manager from time to time.
