Are you an experienced 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst or do you have a background in 1st Line support and looking for a step up?
We have an opening for two Service Analyst to joining our growing service desk team supporting SSCL's Oracle Fusion services provided to our public sector client. This will be on an initial 2 year fixed term contract.
New starters will be provided with full end to end training to support the 150000 users involved in the migration with detailed investigations of incidents raised for our cloud applications. As well as providing analysis of issues and liaising with Oracle and SSCL teams to develop and test fixes for resolution. The position will also cover configuration changes and support of quarterly content released by Oracle.
This hybrid role will be based 3 days from home and 2 days in the Newport office each week with the flexibility to choose which days you go in.
What you'll be doing:
Triaging issues raised to determine impact and priority by liaising with users and delivery teams to gather all necessary informationInvestigate and analyse issues to determine possible cause and any further actions requiredRaise and manage service requests (SRs) with Oracle support, ensuring clear and timely communication with their support team to progress the SRsManage incidents through to resolution in all instances, developing and testing fixes where requiredProcess any agreed standard BAU configuration changesManage any fixes or changes via change control ensuring the appropriate testing has taken place and required documentation has been created or updatedEnsure work is completed to agreed internal OLAsReview quarterly release content and highlight any potential areas of impact What you'll bring:
Prior knowledge and experience working with Oracle ERP systems, ideally Oracle FusionAbility to plan and prioritise work effectively to achieve targets and desired outcomesKeen attention to detailA positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within this domain It would be great if you had:
