The Portable Base Set consists of a transmitter and receiver, each featuring a 3.5mm mini-jack socket. The transmitter is perfect for using with your favourite lavalier microphone (no mic included with the set), and can be attached to your clothing using the included belt clip. The receiver can be used with the included cold shoe mount to attach it to your DSLR, whilst the 3.5mm coiled cable plugs into your receiver and your camera's microphone input. Pair your transmitter and receiver, plug them in, and you're all set - the system will handle channel allocation and interference management automatically.
