Senior Training and Development Manager – Financial Services
Our client, a large, renowned and specialist Business Process Outsourcing provider, is currently looking to hire a Senior Training and Development Manager for a brand new role working across their largest Life and Pension's customer account.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Training and Development Manager to own, develop and evolve the training and development strategy, driving improvements in training design and capability across the entire client landscape of c. 1000 people both onshore and offshore. As the Senior Training and Development Manager you will be responsible for managing 3 direct reports, working across two key client sites in Bristol and Edinburgh, devising and delivering innovative and engaging training that up–skills and enhances the capability of the affected populations and ensures compliance with regulatory procedures.
In conjunction with the below skills and experience sought, the successful Senior Training and Development Manager will demonstrate high energy and passion in their responsibilities for designing, developing, and delivering new training programs and initiatives for the business, as well as leading and overseeing the activities of a dedicated training and development team.
You will have the following key skills/experience:
–Significant experience in a Training and Development Manager position within the Life and Pensions industry or as a minimum the wider Financial Services sector–Ideally experience of working as a Training and Development Manager within a large BPO or Outsourced solutions provider, or facing off to multiple clients within a Life & Pensions / Financial Services Organisation –Experience devising and leading training and development activity for organisations/populations of 500 people +–Significant experience of operating within a heavily regulated environment–Experience of Change/transformation management and delivery –Resilient, driven and calm, accustomed to working within time constrained and pressurised environments –Excellent stakeholder management and client facing skills both internally and externally–The ability to think, plan and build strategically – need to relish developing the overarching training strategy
