Vibrance has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join our exceptional team in Colchester. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, 37 hours a week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP20,268 - GBP21,767 per annum, plus benefits.

About the Senior Support Worker role:
Smithfield Registered Care Home provides 24-hour personalised care and support for service users with varied learning and physical disabilities to the highest standard. Encouraged to live as part of the community, residents partake in educational and recreational activities whilst enjoying the social process of everyday life.
You will play a vital role in delivering a person-centred service, providing both emotional and practical support. You will be supporting service users with all aspects of daily living skills and personal care. Maintaining independence, key working and out in the community supporting service users with activities. You will also be undertaking medication administration, record keeping and cleaning duties.
You will be a committed team player, have good communication skills and an ability to work on own initiative and under pressure. You should be able to demonstrate experience of working with adults with learning disabilities in a paid or unpaid role.
As a senior you will lead direct and supervise a team whilst on shift. Undertake some supervisions.
Sleep ins are a requirement for this post, 4-6 per month on average which commands additional payments on top salary.
All applicants must have a positive attitude towards people with learning disabilities and community integration and be willing to work a flexible rota which includes shift work, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
