Calling all commercially focused education sales professionals! A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious Senior Sales Manager, International to join a highly successful publishing software services and education technology supplier, who work with educational publishers, EdTechs, International Schools, Private Language Schools and Ministries of Education in the UK and worldwide. This is a permanent, home-based /remote position offering a competitive salary package, with occasional travel in the UK and internationally.
The main remit of the Head of Sales is to support and fuel the company's continued growth in the UK and international markets. This is a strategic senior role, which will involve generating demand, closing deals and building up and managing the sales team over time.
Responsibilities include (amongst others):
Develop sales strategies for growth and execute these strategies, working to targets Consolidate and expand relationships with existing clients in order to maximise revenue opportunities Build excellent and sustainable customer relationships, cross selling and upsellingManage a pool of existing leads and prospect accounts, making full use of existing dataLeverage existing industry knowledge to generate new leads and prospect accountsActively seek out new business opportunities, cold calling and networkingIdentify and research emerging markets, market changes and customer trends, being aware of competitorsWork closely with Sales and Marketing management to present reports and forecasts, setting revenue and sales goals periodically Meet with prospective clients to understand needs and use a consultative sales approach, presenting their products and servicesMaintain the CRM and enhance the use for effective sales processes, reviewing actual sales with targets and creating reportsGather customer feedback and resolve any issues, collaborating with customer success ensuring a smooth onboarding of new customersAttend networking events, exhibitions or conferences to generate new leads
Alongside demonstrated commercial success in a B2B software and SaaS sales role, the ideal Senior Sales Manager will have a deep understanding of the UK and international education sector and educational publishing landscape at K12. You will have a strong business sense and industry expertise, with experience working with multinational publishers, EdTech companies, International Schools, Private Language Schools or Ministries of Education. An ability to prioritise key accounts and new business opportunities as well as provide accurate sales forecasts will also be important. The Senior Sales Manager, International will have top-notch communication and presentation skills, and be a self starter with a consultative, results-driven approach and a passion for sales and the education sector.
