We are looking for a Senior Research & Insights Manager to join our Development team.
The Development Department is the fundraising function of the National Theatre. Its aim is to raise essential funds from individuals, corporations and charitable trusts and foundations to enable the theatre to carry out its mission and plan for future years.
The Senior Research and Insight Manager plays a key role in the high performing Development team. They apply their extensive knowledge and experience of prospect research in the non-profit sector to grow income across all streams of fundraising. The role is responsible for planning and delivering high quality prospect research and for managing the donor pipeline, ensuring active moves management. The role also carries out regular market research and delivers fundraising intelligence to grow and strengthen our prospect pipeline.
The successful candidate will have the following:
In-depth knowledge and experience of prospect research in a charity setting.
Comprehensive understanding of prospect and moves management pipelines.
Outstanding track record of successful high-level research and planning around individuals, companies or trusts and foundations.
Experience of analysing large amounts of information and preparing insightful recommendations to support fundraising.
Appreciation for donor motivations and ability to make thoughtful connections with projects.
Experience of working with fundraising database or customer relationship management system (ideally Tessitura).
