With a track record of delivering exceptional homes across the South West, our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their projects.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control, procurement, and commercial management across our housing development projects. You will work closely with the project teams to ensure that budgets are maintained, costs are controlled, and value for money is achieved while upholding our commitment to quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts. Procure subcontractor packages and negotiate contracts to ensure competitiveness and value for money. Monitor and report on project costs, identifying any variances and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with the project team to assess and value changes to the works. Prepare and submit valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts. Provide commercial advice to support project delivery and resolve commercial disputes. Mentor and support junior members of the team. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. MRICS or similar professional qualification is highly desirable. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the housing development sector Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control. Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, cost management software).
