Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Leicester DK Recruitment UK is looking for a Procurement Manager / Senior Buyer to oversee the purchasing process for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring that supply chain processes run smoothly, and identifying cost-cutting opportunities. The Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that all team members feel valued and part of a team.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills An analytical mindset, with experience in market research, data analysis, and conducting procurement-related risk assessments Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders A strong understanding of procurement processes and delivery of change. Experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain branding is ideal Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines A passion for problem-solving and a drive to continuously improve procurement processes
