Due to an internal re structure, we require assistance within the Procurement department to start asap on an initial 3 month contract basis paying up to GBP20 per hour plus holiday pay. We are an international manufacturing and engineering company who can offer a modern working environment based at our newly refurbished offices in Frimley.The role has a flexible working pattern, on site parking and weekly pay plus paid holidays.
The Procurement role would suit candidates with previous procurement, buying, purchasing or similar experience which has ideally been gained within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
The main duties will be to assist the department with the below:-
To generate supplier confidentiality and service level agreements where required, necessary filing onto company serverTo generate RFQ (Request For Quotation) packs for new supplier, to include drawings, usage and target pricingValidate and compare incoming quotes to identify potential suppliersPrepare supporting information for cost negotiation with suppliers, including usage information, competitive quotations and comparisons, engineering data/drawings, annual spend with supplierResolution of all escalated supply issuesActive in all department projectsOTD improvementsEffective management of procurement projectsIntroduce and set up good quality suppliers with all relevant agreements in place In return we can offer the opportunity to secure an interim role which may be extended whilst you seek your ideal permanent position working for a well established and successful international organisation based locally in Frimley.
