Their solicitors regularly collaborate with accountants, investment managers, private banks, and financial advisers to ensure that the legal guidance they provide is of the highest quality.The Private Client Department is currently seeking a Senior Associate or Salaried Partner with experience in advising High Net Worth (HNW) clients on various aspects of estate and tax planning, including lifetime and death estate planning, inheritance tax mitigation, estate administration, and the creation, taxation, and management of trust structures. Ideal candidates should have a client following and/or a market presence, along with the ability to generate new leads for the firm. This role offers an opportunity for an experienced solicitor to advance their career and expand the Private Client services in Liverpool.While the primary office location is in Liverpool, the role will require regular travel to the Manchester office. Reporting lines will connect to both the Head of Private Client in Manchester and the Head of Family in Liverpool. The Manchester team will provide some work and junior resources, while the Family team in Liverpool will contribute to the client pool.This is a full–time position, but my client is open to considering candidates interested in part–time work, such as working four days a week or equivalent. Approximately 6–10 years of post–qualification experience (PQE).A following of work and/or a demonstrated market presence with business development skills.The ability to independently manage a caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision.Expertise in advising on and drafting Wills.Proficiency in probate and estate administration.Experience in advising High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients on estate planning.Familiarity with the relevant tax framework.Knowledge of trust structures.Capability to supervise junior lawyers.STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) qualification is preferable.
