Our client, a growing planning consultancy are urgently looking to appoint an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their team, based out of Bury St Edmunds. The successful will be working within a friendly and professional team to deliver expert planning advice to their clients, predominantly in the retail sector and will benefit from highly flexible/remote working.

Qualifications and Experience:

In this instance applications are sought from candidates who are Chartered Members of the RTPI, have a minimum of three years' experience in the sector, preferably within a consultancy environment, and who have a proven track record of leading successful planning projects, preparing policy presentations and preparing proposals.

Within the role the successful Senior Town Planner will be:

Preparing planning, listed building consent and certificates of lawfulness applicationsPreparing planning policy appraisalsSupporting the coordination of multi-disciplinary teams in the preparation of integrated planning design and access statements and environmental statementsAssisting the preparation of written representation appealsAddress various development management queriesPreparing research articlesIn return the company are offering:
