Role: Senior Planner

Location: Perth

Salary: GBP35000–GBP40000

Penguin recruitment is delighted to be supporting a Multi–National Leading Property Consultancy with offices throughout the UK. Working in sectors such as Asset Management, Buying or Selling, Consultancy.

Due to a healthy workload are now on the look out for a Senior Planner to lead the office in Perth.

Essential Criteria for a Senior Planner:

Degree and/or Masters in Town or Spatial Planning.Chartered Member of the RTPI or working towards Chartership.Minimum of 2 years planning experience in the public or private sector.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Self–motivated with a can–do attitude.Full driving licence and use of own car. Responsibilities and Duties of a Senior Planner:

Assessing the potential of site for a range of developments, identifying opportunities and constraints, and advising clients as such.Preparation and coordination of planning (and associated) applications including the drafting of supporting statements.Liaising with internal and external technical specialties, clients and Local Planning Authorities.Preparation of fee proposals and management of project budgets.Undertaking planning research as required by members of the team.Maintain a programme of CPD.
