Daytime Healthcare are partnering with a Private High End Orthopedic and Sports Clinic in Central London who look after sports stars. They are recruiting for an experienced Senior Training Radiographer with strong MRI, x-ray and II Orthopaedics procedures.
The company was founded in London by a group of leading Orthopaedic Surgeons and Radiologists, with a shared vision of building a worldwide centre of excellence in musculoskeletal care. The Imaging department has 4 Siemens scanners. A 1.5T Aera at FCL, 1.5T Avanto,3T Spectra,3T Lumina. You would be required to work in Central London and Wimbledon.
Hours: The Clinics are open 8am-8pm, 4 days a week or 2 long days of 12 hours (8am -8pm or 2 short days 8am-4pm, 10am-6pm, or 12am-8pm (overnight and weekend on-call, about once every 8 weeks).
Senior Training Manager Job Role:
The Senior training radiographer role will be responsible for maintaining, implementation and constant improvement of training programs for all radiographers including induction, X-ray and MRI training. Direct line management and supervision of qualified junior staff, as well as helping them with identified training needs. Supporting on recruitment, equipment servicing and maintenance Participating in the governance of the department in areas including risk management, health and safety, research, and audit activities. You will work closely with the Imaging Manager and deputy lead Radiographers to constantly improve services and ensure staff are trained and supported to provide high quality imaging. There will also be a commitment to protocol development and adaptation. Able to coordinate the radiographic team while working within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a timely and effective imaging service is maintained at all times.
Ideal Candidate:
Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography HCPC registration Evidence of CPD Significant MRI, x-ray and II Orthopaedics procedures Experience using 3T Ability to undertake IV cannulation Able to make judgements involving complex facts or situations which require the analysis, interpretation and comparison of a range of options Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills Some knowledge of PACS and other IT systems Excellent team working and MDT skills Flexible and adaptive to changing situations
